We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again. Breakfast the next morning offered an enhanced continental breakfast with Blegian waffles, cereal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, etc. But to my surprise we slept soundly and didn't hear anyone returning later. I was a bit concerned about our room location as it was located right across from the stairs and I though that could be a problem with folks returning late from the casino.

We returned back on the 11:45 shuttle and there was no wait to get on the shuttle. The shuttle was clean and left right on schedule. We reserved the 5:30 shuttle to Foxwoods. The rooms were clean and had all the basic necessities. Very friendly front desk staff checked us into our rooms early. We were pleasantly surprised with this motel. This motel is three miles down the road and offers a complimentary shuttle back and forth. More Show lessįour friends and I stayed at the Hilltop this past weekend for a college gathering and to attend the Sheryl Crow concert at the MGM Grand. Once again, it is EASY to get a casino rate if you are a player, and, the points we got playing paid for 2 rooms, all our food, plus gifts for our ladies! Please feel free to email me with questions. I would stay here if Foxwood rooms are fully booked, or, if you aren't a big gambler and therefore have to pay the normal room rate for the different hotels at Foxwods. No comparison, and, no driving after having too many drinks at the tables. That was the mid-week rate through the casino host.

We then got comp’d at Foxwoods (not hard to do if you play Blackjack, craps, etc.) and checked into a GORGEOUS room at the Grand Pequot.at the same price ($69).

Like all other reviews, great breakfast with bagels, danish, and Belgian waffles.mmmmm:) This is a MOTEL not a Hotel (but I like that your car is just outside the door, easy to get into your trunk, etc.). Rooms were simple but spotless (major bonus points for that!).
